We from the Buenzli organization team had the unique chance to arrange a movie contest at Airplane. Airplane was a large E-sports event, taking place in the end of September 2006 in Zurich Airport. Thanks to our knowledge in doing movie/demo presentations at big events, things went very smooth and thanks to the high quality of movie entered to the contest we were able to tie the audience in front of the quad-bigscreens. The movie contest was followed by 30 minutes of demoshow screening the latest hype-demos..

| This movie easily won the contest because of the visual appearance and the high effort put into rendering of the second part. The connection to airplanes and airports are made in a creative way and the visual content is fully self-produced. A true winner who really deserved to win the great prize. | LEGO movies, created with stop-motion techniques, are quite popular. The jury decision to put this movie to the second place bases on the fact that the effort in creating such a movie has to be quite large. Also, it has some nice ideas inside and the audience had a lot of fun watching this production. | The Defenders of Darkness-team experimented with the latest recording technology HDTV and came up with a interesting lay out of different view ports and many funny ideas. The third place seems appropriate for this high quality movie. The original HDTV-version can be downloaded from the DoD-website. |
